PipLoop Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-11-06
Summary (not part of the Terms)
- PipLoop is software for testing and running your own trading ideas. It is not a broker, holds no money, and gives no advice.
- Your broker account is yours. PipLoop sends only the orders you place or set up, and you stay responsible for them.
- Backtests and templates show what happened on past data. They do not predict the future.
- Card and PayPal plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- Payments are not refunded, except for a duplicate charge, a billing error or a confirmed platform failure reported within 30 days, or where the law or our merchant of record’s terms give you a right to a refund.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. You can cancel before a new price applies to you.
- We may pause automation in an emergency. A pause stops new automated entries and never closes your positions.
- If these Terms and this summary differ, the Terms below apply.
1. Who we are and these Terms
PipLoop (“PipLoop”, “we”, “us”) provides the Service described below. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PipLoop website, web app, PipLoop for MT5 and related services (together, the “Service”). By ticking the box at sign-up, or by using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- PipLoop account: your login to the Service.
- Trading account: an account you hold with a broker of your choice, in MetaTrader 5 (“MT5”).
- PipLoop for MT5: the expert advisor and companion programs we provide to connect a trading account to the Service.
- Templates: Flow templates and Playbook templates we publish as worked examples.
- Automation: AutoDrive and Flows running live.
- Your content: journals, Playbooks, Flows, notes, drawings and anything else you create in the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18. You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or located in a country or region under a comprehensive embargo. One person per PipLoop account.
4. Your PipLoop account
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your password, your PipLoop for MT5 API keys and your AI provider keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Revoke a key you think is exposed (Settings → MT5 Connection) and tell us at [email protected].
5. What PipLoop is, and what it is not
- PipLoop is software. It provides charts, backtesting, replay of historical data, a journal and analytics, a strategy builder, connections to your own MT5 terminal, and tools that send orders you place or configure.
- PipLoop is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser or portfolio manager. We do not hold or move your money, do not execute trades for our own account, and do not give investment, financial, tax or legal advice, trading signals or recommendations.
- Templates are examples, not recommendations. Each published template shows how it performed on historical data under stated assumptions. Whether to use, change or trade it is your decision.
- Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical. They do not represent actual trading, have the limits set out in the hypothetical performance disclaimer of the Risk Disclosure, and do not predict future results.
- Historical data comes from third-party sources, is provided as is, and may contain gaps or errors.
6. Your trading accounts and orders
- We recommend that you practise first with paper trades on a DEMO account at the broker you chose: real market prices, no real money.
- The trading account, the broker and the account type (DEMO or LIVE) are your choice and your responsibility. Whether and when you trade with real money, and with which broker, is your decision alone; PipLoop does not recommend brokers or account types and does not tell you to move to a LIVE account. Your relationship with your broker is governed by your agreement with them.
- You authorize PipLoop for MT5 to send to your trading account the orders you place, and the orders produced by automation you switch on and configure. PipLoop does not trade on its own initiative.
- Automation decides in software and depends on things outside our control: your terminal and computer or VPS being on, your internet connection, your broker, the MT5 platform, market conditions, latency and slippage. Orders may be delayed, rejected, filled at a different price or not sent at all. Software, including ours, can contain errors.
- You remain responsible for monitoring your trading accounts and positions, for the settings you choose, and for every order sent to your account, including during an outage of the Service.
- Before your first action on a LIVE account that can open a position (a manual order, switching AutoDrive on, or running a Flow live), the app asks you to read and accept the LIVE trading acknowledgement. It asks once per trading account, and again when its wording changes.
- We may block new orders where a safety check fails (for example a plan limit or a protection rule). Billing changes never close, modify or cancel your positions or orders.
- Emergency stop. To protect users or the Service, for example during a broker outage, a faulty release or an extreme market event, we may pause automation for all users or for one account. While the pause lasts, AutoDrive and live Flows open no new automated entries and cannot be switched on. The pause does not close, change or cancel your open positions or pending orders. When it ends, automation does not restart by itself: you switch it back on. You remain responsible for monitoring your trading accounts and positions during a pause.
7. PipLoop for MT5 licence
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run PipLoop for MT5 on terminals you control, for your own trading accounts, within your plan’s limits.
- Downloading and installing it needs a plan that includes it. On a plan that does not (for example the Free plan), copies you already installed may keep running for the functions that plan includes, such as journal sync.
- You may not copy (except for installation and backup), modify, decompile, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Each connected trading account uses its own API key. We may require updates and stop supporting older versions; the app tells you when an update is needed.
- The licence ends when these Terms end. Positions and orders already at your broker are not affected.
MetaTrader is a trademark of MetaQuotes Ltd. PipLoop is not affiliated with or endorsed by MetaQuotes or any broker.
8. Plans, trials and payments
- Seller. Subscriptions are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, which also handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Its buyer terms apply to the payment.
- Prices and plans are shown on the pricing page in US dollars. Taxes are added or included as shown at checkout.
- Free plan. New users start on the Free plan and can choose a paid plan at any time.
- Renewal. Subscriptions paid by card or PayPal renew automatically for the same period until you cancel, at the current price for your plan (see Price changes). You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Price changes. We may change the price of a plan, including for existing subscriptions. New prices apply to new purchases once published. For an existing subscription we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the new price applies, and it applies from your first renewal after that notice period. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal.
- Changing plans. An upgrade applies at once, and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period; the amount is shown before you confirm. A downgrade applies at the next renewal.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, you keep access for up to 7 days while it is retried. After that the plan ends.
- Ending or downgrading a plan. New actions above the new plan’s limits are refused at once. Running automation above the limits keeps running for 3 days, then stops opening new positions. Your content is never deleted because of a plan change.
- Chargebacks. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us at [email protected] before you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer; we can usually fix a billing problem faster. A chargeback ends the plan it paid for at once, as a full refund does. While a chargeback is open, checkout and plan changes are paused for your account until it is resolved.
- Refunds follow the Refund Policy: payments are non-refundable, with the exceptions it lists.
9. Promotions, referrals and affiliates
- Gift codes. A gift code gives you a paid plan for the period stated with the code (a number of days from the day you redeem it, or until a stated end date). Each code can be redeemed once per person, before its redeem-by date and while it has uses left. When the gift period ends, your plan follows the normal rules: your paid subscription if you have one, otherwise the Free plan. A gift does not change or cancel a paid subscription you already have.
- Promotion codes apply only as stated with each code.
- Gift codes and promotion codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The referral reward and its conditions are shown in Settings → Referral & Partner. The affiliate programme is governed by the Affiliate Terms.
10. AI features
Copilot AI uses an AI provider key that you supply. Your use of that provider is governed by its terms, and its charges are yours. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, is not advice, and must be checked by you before you rely on it. Copilot AI never sends an order without your confirmation.
11. Your content and data
- You own your content. You grant us a licence to host, process and display it only to provide the Service to you, and to make backups.
- You can export your data and delete your account in Settings. Deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
- If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
12. Acceptable use
You will not:
- break the law or anyone’s rights;
- access or try to access accounts or systems that are not yours;
- interfere with the Service’s security or performance, probe it, or overload it;
- scrape it, or copy or redistribute its data or templates outside your own use;
- share your account or resell the Service;
- use the Service to manage other people’s money without the licences your law requires.
13. Third-party services
The Service works with services we do not control, including MT5, your broker, data providers, AI providers, payment providers and sign-in providers. Their terms govern their services, and we are not responsible for them.
14. Intellectual property
The Service, PipLoop for MT5, the templates and our brand belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of them to you, except the rights stated here.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant any trading result.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages;
- our total liability for all claims is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
17. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, including orders sent to your trading accounts.
18. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable we tell you first.
- Suspension never closes, modifies or cancels your positions or orders.
- Sections 5, 6, 11–17 and 19–21 survive termination.
19. Changes
We may change the Service. We may update these Terms; for a material change we notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect and may ask you to accept the new version. If you do not accept, you may cancel before the change applies.
20. Governing law and disputes
Nothing in these Terms takes away protections that the consumer law of your country gives you.
21. Language
These Terms may be translated. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
