Questions traders ask us
Clear answers on how PipLoop works, what it needs and what it never does.
Getting started
Yes. Start from setup templates with chart examples, practise bar by bar in Backtest with your checklist beside you, and let the Journal show which step to fix. No coding needed.
Yes. Flow Builder builds a strategy from drag-and-drop blocks, from entry to exit, backtests it with costs, then runs it on your MT5. AutoDrive runs DCA and hedging by the rules you set.
Yes, in your phone's browser, with no app to install. Follow your trades, get price alerts and switch AutoDrive on or off on the move.
The website, setup templates, guides and help come in every language in the switcher at the top of the page. The app interface is in English for now, keeping the terms traders already use.
Brokers, MT5 and safety
Any broker with MT5. You choose which account to connect, and we recommend practising on a DEMO account. PipLoop does not support MT4 yet.
No. Your money stays in your account at the broker you choose. Orders go through the EA on your own MT5, which connects with an EA key, never with your broker password.
Only for automation: AutoDrive and Flow need your MT5 running, and many traders use a VPS for that. Backtest, Playbook and Journal run in the browser.
Yes. The Free plan needs no MT5 account: use the strategy templates, practise in Backtest, build and backtest a Flow, and practise AutoDrive in Replay. Connect an account when you want to trade.
Testing and data
Historical data built from real ticks, with the spread taken from each tick. Every report names its data source and period. Replay in Chart Workspace reads price history from your own MT5.
Many tools ignore costs, or backtest on a different engine from the one that trades. Flow Builder backtests on M1 bars built from real tick data, charges spread plus the commission and slippage you set, and runs live on that same engine.
You need enough trades, costs included, and a period the strategy wasn't built on. Then practise it yourself in Backtest before you trade it. A result that only holds in one good stretch of the market isn't an edge yet.
You can't check what's inside them. In PipLoop, every step of your method and every trade is visible, and you can replay it to see why a trade happened.
Improving your trading
A Playbook turns your setup into a checklist you tick on every trade, and Journal & Analytics shows what skipping a step costs you.
In Journal & Analytics. It breaks your results down by playbook and by checklist step, so you can see which step earns and which one costs you.
Plans
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no card. When you need more, pick the plan that fits.
No. PipLoop is a tool for practising and verifying your own method. Backtest results are simulated and do not guarantee future results.
Yes. DEMO and LIVE accounts count the same, because each one needs its own EA connection.
