PipLoop Risk Disclosure
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-11-06
Trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. Read this before you connect a trading account or switch on automation.
Trading risk
- Leverage cuts both ways. Forex, CFDs, metals, indices and cryptocurrencies are often traded with leverage. Prices can move fast and you can lose all the money in your trading account, and in some cases more, depending on your broker’s terms.
- Only trade money you can afford to lose. Consider your experience, objectives and finances, and seek independent advice if you need it.
PipLoop gives no advice
PipLoop is software. Nothing in PipLoop is investment advice, a recommendation or a trading signal: not the templates, the reports, the analytics or Copilot AI’s answers. You decide what to trade, how, and with what risk.
Hypothetical performance disclaimer
Hypothetical and simulated results have built-in limits. Read this before you rely on any backtest, replay, template report or strategy test in PipLoop.
Every result PipLoop shows from a backtest, a replay, a template report or a strategy test is hypothetical: it was not produced by trading real money in a real account.
- No real trades. A simulated result is not an actual track record. No order was filled at a broker, so it does not show what real execution would have done.
- Made with hindsight. Strategies and their settings can be chosen and tuned after seeing what the market did. A strategy fitted closely to past data may fail on new data.
- No money at risk. Simulated trading risks nothing, so it cannot show how real losses affect you: whether you could afford them, or whether you would keep following the strategy through a run of losses. Both strongly affect real results.
- Market conditions are simplified. A simulation cannot fully account for slippage, liquidity, partial fills, requotes, spreads that widen, swaps, outages, latency, or the broker rules of a real account. Costs are assumptions stated in each report.
- The data may be imperfect. Historical data comes from third-party sources and may contain gaps or errors.
- No promise of similar results. We do not say or imply that any account will, or is likely to, make profits or losses like those shown. Real trading results often differ sharply from hypothetical ones.
- The past does not predict the future. Past results, hypothetical or real, do not guarantee future results.
A template passing PipLoop’s quality bar means it met published evidence thresholds on past data. It is not a promise of future results.
Automation risk
Automated trading (AutoDrive, Flows running live) acts without asking you each time. It depends on:
- your MT5 terminal running, on your computer or a VPS;
- your internet connection and your broker’s servers;
- the MT5 platform;
- PipLoop’s servers for some functions;
- your settings.
Any of these can fail or behave unexpectedly. Orders may be delayed, rejected, filled at worse prices, or not sent. Monitor your accounts, use protection (such as stop losses) where it fits your plan, and start on a DEMO account.
We may also pause automation for all users or for your account, to protect users or the Service (the emergency stop in Terms §6). A pause stops new automated entries; it does not close, change or cancel your open positions or pending orders, so keep monitoring them.
Your account, your broker
You choose your broker and whether you use a DEMO or a LIVE account; PipLoop does not recommend either. Your broker executes your trades under its own terms, prices and rules. PipLoop is not a broker and does not hold your funds.
